Sentivate

Sentivate represents a sophisticated attempt to overhaul the foundational aspects of the current internet architecture by amalgamating the advantages of both centralized precision and decentralized trustless operations. This project, conceptualized by Arity in 2014, seeks to transcend significant constraints of the existing internet, offering a potential resolution to enduring issues such as bandwidth limits, antiquated protocols, and sluggish DNS functionalities. Its hybrid framework aims to enhance the web ecosystem by providing heightened speed, unprecedented security, and scalability capabilities that neither purely decentralized nor centralized networks can achieve independently. Central to Sentivate’s mission is its Universal Data Stream Protocol (UDSP), which supersedes traditional HTTP and TCP protocols and proposes a more rapid, secure two-way data communication. 

The Sentivate ecosystem employs its own post-quantum cryptocurrency known as VIAT. VIAT is distinctive for its massive scalability potential and high throughput, achieved through a clever combination of linear blockchains and directed acyclic graphs (DAGs) for high-performance computing. This novel setup allows for efficient proof-of-work mining while tackling the threats posed by quantum computing. The integration of a modern Domain Information System (DIS) instead of the traditional DNS backs its goal of a more connected, efficient, and secure data exchange platform. Additionally, SNTVT, an ERC-20 token on Ethereum, serves as its governance and utility token, enabling holders to contribute to Sentivate's future through participation and voting. The project’s comprehensive intent diverges notably from those with purely financial goals, focusing instead on rerouting internet infrastructure through its hybrid architectural design for evolving online communications.
